This stunning hotel has two outdoor swimming pools. They are infinity pools with a beautiful view of the rainforest meeting the ocean. There are umbrellas everywhere so you can catch some shade and they even have a swim-up sushi bar! There’s also an intimate spa that you can visit during your romantic getaway. Many of the rooms even have a private pool and of course, you will be equipped with a private bathroom and daily housekeeping. Despite having luxurious amenities, the con of this beautiful hotel would be that it is a long distance to the beach.

The indoor area is equipped with air conditioning so you don’t have to worry about getting overheated if it’s super hot outside. The beachfront onsite restaurant at the resort has an extensive menu featuring everything from seafood entrées to steak dinners. The menu features heavy seafood dishes like risotto and sashimi, but more classic items are also available like flatbreads and hamburgers. Breakfast includes a complimentary gourmet buffet. Plus, there’s an à la carte menu available. You can order a 24-hour room service but there are extra fees associated with it. There are also some nearby restaurants if you prefer to branch out and try new and different things.

The spa has a sense of serenity and calmness but is also cozy and inviting riddled with ocean and rainforest vibes. You can’t go wrong with getting a spa treatment here. Natural material elements like live-edge wood panels, shells, river pebbly-patterned walls, and leather seating defined the intimate, upscale vibe of the spa. If you want to visit the spa, you’ll have to reserve the entire private room for yourself, your partner/s, or a small group of friends (6). The spa offers a massage service and they can either be conducted in a massage room or on the outdoor patio of the spa overlooking the ocean. The saunas at the spa are thoughtful, with a floor-­to-ceiling spectacular view of the jungle, and curving walls made out of heated stones. Outdoor yoga sessions are also held during good weather.

The hotel’s beach can be reached within walking distance by walking up a steep hill or taking a golf cart ride with the hotel’s golf cart service. This golf cart service is complimentary! And it’s about a 20-minute walk. Small but secluded, Playa Biesanz Beach is a private beach that is peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel. There’s a parking garage for safe, off-street parking. There are also laundry services available as needed and daily housekeeping as expected.
